How to Set Restrictions

While every hotel’s exact distribution landscape may vary, refer to the diagram below for a common setup that many Duetto hotels use.
In the example, rates and restrictions are distributed from Duetto to the PMS or CRS and then then sends those updates to other systems such as the GDS, connected OTAs, etc.
Then as reservations and blocks are created in the PMS, those are in turn sent to Duetto, which appear in your reporting.
While this is a common distribution setup, note that some hotels choose to have Duetto distribute rates directly to the CRS in addition to distributing to the PMS.
How do restrictions work in Duetto?
When you publish a restriction from Duetto, the application sends a message with the restriction to your CRS or PMS (only for SynXis).GameChanger > Strategy > Set > Restriction
Keep in mind for LOS:
- Property Level LOS Restrictions
- Min or Max Stay Arrival in order for it to push over to OTAs successfully.
- Min or Max Stay Through will not process over to OTAs.
